The purpose of the Chickadee Award is to encourage children to develop an appreciation for excellence in writing and illustration that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This week's selection was the Fussy Flamingo, written by Shelly Vaughan James and illustrated by Matthew Rivera.

The Annual Halloween Breakfast Challenge hosted by Fuel Up to Play 60 was deliciously successful again this year! Morse High School students and staff participated in a blind taste test of breakfast treats from Sisters Gourmet Deli, The Cabin, Southgate Restaurant, Courtney Clifford, Bath Tech, and Region 10 Technical High School. The winner of the Best Breakfast went to… our very own Bath Tech! Congrats!
