Lights, Camera, Action!
Bath Middle School had a professional film crew in the Seguin House's science classes recently. Mrs. Wright has been one of twelve middle school teachers in Maine that has been a part of a grant through the National Science Foundation along with the Gulf of Maine Institute, Bowdoin College and Vanderbilt University. The team of teachers and researchers were studying how to support students in creating the best models of the natural world. This has been a two year project and to celebrate their work they are creating a short documentary film to share among the education community. Congratulations to Mrs. Wright on all her efforts and hard work to make this happen. Our students were excited to be a part of it and also had some fun playing with some of their equipment after the filming.

Our Facilities Department has been hard at work on various projects across the district, including the installation of a generator at Phippsburg Elementary, and air conditioning at Woolwich Central School.

ONE WEEK from today! BMS Zombie Run is back. In the spirit of the fall and Halloween, join us October 24th at 5:30 for our annual Zombie Run event. A fun way to be active and enjoy the spooky season. Participants will have two flags and run/walk approximately a one mile loop and try to get away from the zombies who will be throughout the course trying to get the runners' flags.
Shout-out to our 8th graders Audrey, Frida and Darling who have been promoting the event to their fellow BMS students!
The cost is $5 or a canned food item (canned pasta, baked beans, peanut butter) to donate to the Bath Area Food Bank.

A handful of BMS students and families viewed the recent solar eclipse. A special thanks to Mr. Wright who made pinhole cameras from cardboard boxes.
