Dear RSU 1 Staff and Families,
I am writing to inform you that we have a positive case of COVID-19 at the following schools:
Bath Middle School
Bath Tech
Dike Newell School
The individuals were in school during the period of infection/transmission. All those considered a close contact to the positive cases have been individually notified and, if necessary, excluded from school.
Wearing masks, getting vaccinated, if eligible, and signing up for pooled testing are the three most effective steps we can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and reduce the number of individuals required to quarantine. It is not too late to sign up for weekly pooled testing. If you would like to do so, please follow the sign-up steps on this pooled testing consent letter.
