The Bath Rotary Club is excited to recognize Ray Bernier as a Paul Harris Fellow. The Bath Rotary Club is one of approximately 45,000 clubs across the world with more than 1.2 million members. Each club is a part of Rotary International, a global organization that provides stewardship of a foundation that provides grants throughout the world for important humanitarian work. As people across the world donate to the fund, each $1,000 allows that person to be awarded a Paul Harris pin for becoming what’s known as a Paul Harris fellow. The Rotary Club of Bath has donated $1,000 in Mr. Bernier’s name to recognize his work at Bath Tech and make him a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Bernier has led the carpentry program for more than 10 years now, and the club couldn’t be more proud to see the program under his leadership. He has brought many new and exciting changes like expanding the house construction to two years, allow for broader community engagement and more diverse projects for the students, and most recently, changes to allow the students to work on the modular home inside the school, eliminating a lot of wasted time to travel to the construction site and navigate weather along the way.
