CELEBRATIONS!

Great things are happening at WCS!

  • Morse Shipbuilders Committed spent the morning with our 5th grade classes. They are a group of high school students committed to being the best they can be in all aspects of their lives through leadership training, wellness, knowledge, and camaraderie. Today they shared some of their own work with our 5th grade classes in hopes to set an example for these kids as they move into middle school and eventually into high school and college.
  • The Woolwich Central School kindergarten classes, along with support from the school community, recently raised $244 for a fundraiser to drill a well so that children in rural Kenya can have clean drinking water. The kindergarten students made posters and some even donated their own birthday money and piggybank contents to help these students in Africa.

MEMORIAL DAY

..Memorial Day remains one of America's most cherished patriotic observances. The spirit of this day has not changed - it remains a day to honor those who died defending our freedom and democracy. - Doc Hastings

There will be no school on Monday, May 27th, as we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free.
