On the final Professional Development Day of the school year, RSU 1 staff participated in a variety of meetings and trainings. Bath Tech staff traveled to Bangor with students to take part in the SkillsUSA competition, while other elementary and secondary teaching staff engaged in trainings and grade-level meetings in district.
RSU 1 Ed Techs spent the day deepening their understanding of Special Education referrals, IEPs, and strategies for supporting students in the classroom. Meanwhile, the Secretary group started off their spring meeting with a team building exercise and discussed best practices, reviewed paperwork updates, and prepared for upcoming state reporting.
Overall, it was a highly productive and valuable day for all district staff.
