RSU 1 launched the 2025-2026 school year with our annual district-wide opening ceremonies in the Montgomery Theater at Morse High School. All staff gathered to hear inspiring and motivational messages from Superintendent Manuel, RSU 1 Board Chair Lou Ensel, and special guest speaker Dr. Glenn Cummings.
This year’s event featured an extra special guest—Cooper the dog—who brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The day continued with a variety of professional development opportunities, setting a strong tone for the year ahead.
We’re energized and ready—and can’t wait to welcome our students back on Tuesday, September 2nd!
