 HEALTHY HIGHLIGHTS

Dental clinics:  Two separate dental clinics are happening.  The first is the same one I hold here at school every six months for anyone who currently does not see a dentist. It is happening on Friday December 13, 2019.  A registered hygienist comes to the school with equipment and does education, a cleaning and will contact parents if problems or questions arise.  The charge is $48.00 WITHOUT any insurance, and FREE with MaineCare. I sent home a form to everyone, and the only folks who need to make it out and send it back are those of you who wish your child to be seen.  This is a quality exam and cleaning and for the price you cannot beat it. The name of the company is: Brighter Maine Smiles.

The second clinic is held at Bath Family Dental by Dr. Cook on Friday February 2, 2020.  This is totally separate from the first one, but the form went home approximately one month ago.  This is free, and includes x-ray, extractions, fillings etc, for children without private insurance or MaineCare coverage.  If you have questions about either of these clinics, want another form, or just wish to discuss it, please call the nurse.

Lastly, on a different subject it is not too late to get your flu shot! Our clinic here was a great success in the number that was vaccinated, but if for some reason you have not had yours, contact your doctor, or go to a local pharmacy and get one. ~Nurse Sherwood
