Dear Friends,

RSU #1 values parental and community involvement in our schools and our vision includes the creation of School Advisory Groups (SAG) for each school. Though Arrowsic has no school, they will still create a SAG and that process is funneled through the selectmen.  As you know, individual communities no longer have school boards and the SAG was established to insure a vital link to each school/community and to the RSU 1 Board of Directors.

We hope you will consider becoming a member and bring your positive spirit, fresh ideas, support and energy to the table as we work together to build the very best school system in the State of Maine.  We simply can't do it by ourselves and we reach out to all of you to join in this effort.  We are proud to be the first new school system in Maine in the last fifty years; now we want to create the best school system in Maine for the next fifty years.
