RSU 1 Career Center
Morse High School has a new Career Center, staffed from 7AM to 3 PM every day by community volunteers. You can get in touch by phone, 443-8250 x1010 or email at
careercenter@rsu1.org
. Information is available for after school volunteer opportunities, after school jobs, summer jobs, colleges and scholarships. We hope that a YES program (Youth Employment Service) will soon be in place. This will allow private individuals to connect with our students for jobs such as babysitting, lawn maintenance etc. We also plan to establish an internship program for Morse students over the next few months. We can help with filling out college and work applications. Working with the Morse JMG program (Jobs for Maine Graduates) we are setting up a student clothing closet and are in need of clothing suitable for high school students who are going out on interviews. Donations of such may be left at the main office of Morse. Visitors are always welcome at the Center and we are still looking for volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the
Volunteer Registration Form
and forward it to the Superintendent's office at 4 Sheridan Road, Bath, ME 04530 for processing.
