Welcome to Regional School Unit #1 and the communities of Arrowsic,
Bath, Phippsburg, West Bath, and Woolwich. The eight schools that
comprise our district strive to meet the needs of all students while
focusing on improving student achievement.
Research has shown that the classroom teacher has the
greatest
impact on stud
ent learning, and our district is fortunate to have a
talented staff of educators. Our support staff, including personnel in
transportation, school offices, technology, food service, business
office, and maintenance and custodial services work diligently to take
care of many logistical concerns, allowing teachers to teach and
students to learn with minimal interruptions.
I am honored to serve as the Superintendent of Schools for RSU#1, and I
look forward to working with staff, students, parents, and community
