Vision

RSU 1 Academic Goals for 2009-2010

We will continue to strengthen the literacy program across the RSU. Success will be measured by:

Increasing the percent of children who make at least one year's growth in reading by 10% in each school (as measured by either the DRA or NWEA).
90% of third grade students reading at grade level by the end of the year.
70% of students in grades K-8 will meet the standards of a new RSU wide writing prompt in the spring of 2009.
