On Monday, November 7, all Morse students will participate in a HEAR (Helping Everyone Achieve Respect) presentation. The presentation is part of a research-based bullying prevention program that encourages students to adopt respectful personal behavior. It will be presented by the National Guard and was developed in collaboration with experts at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. No recruiting of any type will take place as part of the presentation.

Following the presentation on Monday, students will participate in discussions with their advisory teachers. Together, they will complete a short survey that asks them questions about bullying and school climate.

If you would like to follow up with your student at home, resources on HEAR and about bullying in general can be found on the Guidance website: bit.ly/morseguidance. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to an administrator or to your student's assigned School Counselor via phone or email.
