Program Advisory Breakfast

BRCTC hosted its annual spring Program Advisory Committee breakfast and meetings on Wednesday, April 5th. Each program instructor at the center has developed a committee of advisors to assist in developing strong ties with the community. An equally important task of the advisory boards is to help instructors stay up to date on current career and college readiness skills that they see as requisites for graduates. Director Julie Kenny celebrated the successes of BRCTC students by highlighting SkillsUSA participants and winners. Additionally, board members listened in on BRCTC’s notable list of dual enrollment agreements with area colleges. Following the breakfast, each board branched off to discuss the year’s progress as well as goals for future school years.
